Introduction Atomionics is looking for an electronics engineering intern to assist the senior electronics engineer in miniaturizing the current cold atom interferometry setup. Optimal production of laser cooled atoms in a magneto-optical trap requires optimization of several trap parameters, such as optical power of different beams, their frequencies, time sequences, magnetic coil currents at different stages of cooling, and trapping of atoms.
