Internal Audit Department of SMBC is responsible for examining the overall internal control system including the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Internal Audit Department, Asia Pacific Division (IAD AP) conducts internal audits of the operations of all SMBC units and departments.
