Minimum requirements: N6 qualification in a mechanical field. Recognised Trade Test in Fitting or Fitting & Turning. John Thompson Boiler Attendant Certificate (advantageous). Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. At least 5 years fitting experience on heavy machinery, including: Coal-fired boilers 5001000 CFM compressors Centrifugal and piston-type water pumps Previous experience in a Charge Hand or Foreman role (preferred).
